Hello all wood burners out there. I have a 1980’s vintage house with a Fabco Pioneer T3000 stove in a huge brick hearth. I have no information on this stove. I’d like to replace it with something more efficient but it appears to be a built in fireplace and would have to be removed from the backside which would mean demoing the exterior wall behind it. I just don’t see how else they installed it unless it just slid into opening in the hearth. It’s pretty massive so I’m guessing it weighs a ton. Any invite on this dinosaur would be appreciated. One more thing on the stove. The door gasket is shot and I can’t seem to find any info on what the replacement gasket would be.
