Expensive flue

When you think your installation is costly, take a look at this place. Yes Gracie, they are copper flues, and two of them. They use copper a lot on these timeless homes in Assisi, Italy. Drain pipes, gutters, service covers were also made of copper.

The place we stayed at had a nice old Warm Morning 606 stove that they lit up in the evening. It was still in good shape and working quite well.

And then there are the chimney pots. These roof top flue caps are common on the palazzios in Venice. They remind me of the old wood burning locomotive stacks.

No clearance to combustible issues when there aren't any combustibles...nice pics. Looks like you had a nice trip with all those stacks to look at
