When I lost power recently I had a smell of smoke from my Hartman xxv pellet stove. All the gaskets pass the dollar bill test. My question is,if I added a two foot riser pipe outside would this create a more natural draft to prevent this?Has anyone experienced this. Thanks!!!!

Thats why they recommend an outside air kit. Smoke goes outside in the event of a failure or power outage. A riser would help but an OAK would almost eliminate the issue.
