After a deep clean and sitting idle all summer my stove is acting strange. On start up cycle all works well. Once stove is to temperature, after a few minutes, exhaust blower idles itself down to ~ half speed, resulting in poor air flow as well as poor fuel utilization. If I crack the firebox door, exhaust blower will increase to normal speeds, once I close and latch door, blower returns to slower reduced speed.

Any ideas? I've cleaned out vac hose to firebox, no change.

Check your air intake for a blockage or stuck flapper if there is one…not too familiar with your stove

Does your stove have an OAK (outside air kit)
Sounds like the stove is starving for air you may
have moved the damper when cleaning

Exhaust blower age? Could be getting weak, stove good and clean? Was exhaust blower removed and cleaned since last season?
