I have an Enviro Maxx-M, the convection blower does not turn on after reaching the proper temp. The blower works when powered from the outlet, the low limit sensor snaps when heat is applied. Is it safe to say it’s the control panel that’s bad or am I missing something?
Is it ok to have it powered by directly from the outlet temporarily? If so can I add a fan speed controller in the loop? I will have the sensor still hooked up if I’m able to add the controller to it. Lastly if I can use the speed controller is there a certain kind I need? This is all temporary until I can get the proper part delivered it’s getting cold in here 😀
Thanks for any input

Is the control panel feeding power through the purple wire to the blue wire at the motor
Did you test the fuse or just look at it should be 4 or 5-amp. If all is good then you need a
control board If you think that's what it needs just a suggestion try Friendly Fires in Ontario Canada
with the way the dollar is, I think you will find the part you need cheaper with shipping than in the US
Yes you can run the fan from an outside power source but just till you get the part

Take the two wire off the sensor and attach them together, you can use a paper clip and tape it so it does not touch the body of the stove. If blower runs then you have a bad switch. How and how much heat did you apply to the switch to make it snap?

Someone recommended on this forum using a match so that was what I did.

Can I use a jumper wire?

Yes as ARC said or a wire
Did the stove shut down when the blower did not work?

So I used a jumper on both the low limit and high limit sensor fan still did not turn on. The stove will keep running for awhile just won’t blow out heat. It feeds pellets and the combustion blower works normally so I would assume it’ll run until the box gets too hot and shuts itself down.
