I bought a used Enviro M55C FS (Serial Number 223603) earlier this year and I am in the process of installing it in my garage. I was told by the former owner that it was functional before it was removed.

I have thoroughly cleaned it and inspected all parts for any obvious or visual damage and things look reasonably good, considering the stove's age. I have inspected the circuit boards and checked fuses and all are good.

I plug it in and power it up.
  1. The combustion blower starts and runs.
  2. The feed auger begins to run and drop pellets.
  3. The igniter begins to glow a bright orange.
  4. After a few minutes, the fire pot stirrer begins to rotate periodically.
  5. All of the above continue for about 15 minutes and then the stove begins to shut off.
  6. The #3 light begins to flash (I suspect it is flashing because the exit temperature sensor didn't heat up because there was no ignition of pellets).
The fire pot is centered on the igniter tube and firmly held in place. The area on the fire pot around the igniter tube does not begin to glow to ignite the pellets being dropped. I have never seen one of these stoves operate, so I do not know what I should be seeing as far as what should be glowing red in the fire pot.

I would appreciate any help or suggestions to get this running.

Looks like the burn pot is in backwards
The hole in the pot should line up with the igniter hole and be pushed
back against the hole
Welcome to the forum

Hello Johneh,
I checked it again, and the hole on the back of the liner is aligned and pressed against the igniter element protection tube.
I took some pictures of the liner, hoping that may notice something.
Thanks for your help!
