Enviro Empress FS (manufactured 12/2005) auger motor was making a horrible sound, so I ordered new parts (auger 50-1346, auger plate with bushing 50-1359, auger collar with screw 50-968, and auger motor EF-001.) The old auger was completely bound up and would not spin at all and was stuck to the old auger plate. When I installed the new parts, when I tighten the 4 screws of the auger plate to keep pellet dust from falling through, the new auger binds and won't spin, but if I loosen the screws until the auger spins, pellet dust falls through and becomes a fire hazard. Any ideas are appreciated. I'm getting tired of throwing money at this thing.

Bent auger shaft or upper bushing is worn out
Welcome to the forum
Thank you. I hope it's not the auger shaft because it is brand new. I'm not seeing a part number for an upper bushing in my users manual, but I can try to look when I take it apart again.

I have never seen in 22 years an upper bushing worn out on an Enviro stove
Is the bottom plate bushing in straight and the mounting
plate must be level and straight The bushing and plate
have to be square with each other
