Is this an NC30? What's a fair price for a used one? Any owner reviews out there?

It’s not an nc30. That’s a stove. The furnace models are different like 28-3500.

They were not expensive and manual burn rate control.

Was enclosed with a blower so thought it was a furnace.

It is a furnace. What Highbeam was saying that the NC30 is a stove and that photo you posted is not of a stove so therefore it's not an NC30.

Yeah that's a 28-3500 manually fired wood furnace...they were something like $700-1200 when new (depending on how old it is) and they have been out of production for about 4-5 years now...but they were half decent little units...people seemed to like them pretty well.
After the 28-3500, Englander made the 28-4000 for a few years...those were basically a NC30 with a air jacket and larger blower on it...those ran about $1200-1500...also no longer made...Englander is out of the wood furnace business it seems.
BTW, I see those 28-3500's for sale used for $400-500 pretty often around here.

Found this one with asking price of $500. Was thinking of putting in the shop.

If its not all roached and beat up, that should work out nicely (unless maybe the shop is huge, or really leaky)

Thank you. My grammar was particularly poor there.
