Hello,
I am hoping someone can help me.

I have an englander stove model 10-CDV Serial Number WHI-002308 built 03/2006.
The control unit has the following on it: CU-CB05 Corn Burner.
We use it with wood pellets and it is not self igniting.
It has been working great for years but recently, the control Board On button stopped working. Initially it will sometimes but recently, it does not work at all.

I press the ON button and nothing happens. (all other buttons work such as the temp,. the fan or the auger turning motor) .
I did a factory reset (holding the bottom 3 buttons) and got the F5 code but that did not help.
I tried cleaning the contacts on the back but that did not help.

Anyone encountered similar issues?

If I have to replace the control board , I am trying to find the correct Digital Control board to order.
Online they have ones with different numbers but none mentions which one is compatible with the 10-CDV CU-CB05 ?

Any thoughts on the control board that works with 10-CDV
I am attaching a picture of the control unit
Any help you can provide will be much appreciated.

Thank you
Mo

You need a new switch. It is changable but requires good soldering skills and the right equipment. Best bet is to contact Englander stove support. I believe most use the same board but the programming is different. Very good people to deal with.

Well i stand corrected, the buttons are actually pressure sensitive membrane and is connected to the board by a ribbon cable. You may get lucky by just pulling it out and reinserting on the main board.

As Ssyko said, if it doesn't work re-seating the cable, those boards are all the same and just use a different chip to control the functions. That said, I just looked on Englander's website and did not see the board for sale. You might need to contact them directly.
