First Pellet stove FI. Finally, after researching about chimney liners, pellets, installs, etc, I got it going and works great!
Thanks totaly to the information on this web site!! It has been invaluable !! My question, is exhaust blower noise level.

FI installed in living room open room/cathederal celing exhausting to an exterior wall chimney. Ops levels 1 -5, I can watch and listen to TV in the room with no problem. However the blower noise is bothersome. Kids have moved out and we are use to a very quiet house. The blower on 2 - 3 is about a little louder than the refrigerator with the compressor running.

IS This normal? Was under the impression Enviro was one of the lowest noise levels. The convection blower is decent in db.

We also have the empress and don't find the noise level
objectionable, in fact it is quite lower than the humidifier
that is running in the room. On high the blower is louder
but still low enough to watch TV. It is one of the quietest
stove that I have heard.

Have a warm and toasty winter

Jay

Hi: Have a FS and at #4 can hear my wife talking to me from a couple rooms away, at #5 it gets difficult.
Guess where I plan on running it.
Stove is very quiet in my opinion

Oh I can hear the wife talking and or TV fine. Just @ the dealer you could not really tell since the place was mobbed late June with buyers.

I just thought ( or hoped ) it would be almost silent - but after research on the forum one persons adjective of quiet/silent is differant from anothers. Just irritates me on mid 3 setting but I guess I'll get use to it.
