I moved the stove on a trailer, on it's back. The damper does not operate now. Please tell me that there is a way to correct this without taking the stove apart.
 
It's going to need the lid removed to see if something like the refractory cover fell into the bypass damper and is jamming it.
 
And the top came off and it is back together. Carrying it on its back seems to have distorted the shape/position of the flue flange and it jambed/blocked the damper open. I used a sander and then a sheet of sand paper to open a bit of space. I got it to be a tiny clearance and readjusted the damper handle that was also catching it. All fixed now, back together, ready to burn. Thanks begreen.
