Anyone with a drolet ht2000 that can tell me what the inch and a half hole is for in the back of the stove?thanks

Probably a place for a thermal disc to control a blower motor on/off temperatures.
That’s correct. It’s where the snap stat would mount if you added a blower. The snap stat is optional, it comes with the blower and you can choose to use it if you want.

Thanks guys was getting the serial numbers off the back and noticed that the hole had tape over it I took it off I figured that was were the blower went because it has little screw hole around it for mounting something
