Door handle modification/swap

Has anyone tried using Vermont Castings door handle from their Savana model on the Intrepid? The fall-away handle the Intrepid comes with is beyond aggravating and the Savana handle looks to be interchangeable.

I have the Encore which I believe has the similar fall-away handle as your Intrepid. I screwed that fall-away wooden front door handle directly on so it always connected like the bypass and primary handles.

Unscrew that metal piece on the end and then screw the wooden handle to the metal door handle.

It made no sense to me to have the other 2 handles fixed but the door handle loose. PIA.
I happened to see my dealer have theirs attached and I asked them about it. So much nicer!
