I did the first break in fire with a new Jotul Rangeley TL50 last week. Got the stove up to 200-250 and let it cruise out as per the manual. Several days later when I wanted to do the second break in fire, I had a lot of trouble opening the front door. The gasket was almost bonded to the front of the stove. I was afraid the gasket was actually going to pull off the door. It left a film on the front of the stove too.
Is this normal? Should I clean off the front of the stove where the gasket meets it? If so, with what?
Thanks in advance
