The location is Hunter Rd Norfolk MA We will be removing the existing 70's poluting beast and installing the Century WF 27000 donors
bought from Home Depot. I know GVA is on Vacation so I wanted to notify all members that want to help, with some addvance notice
Beer will be available. Not a bad installation, first floor and class A chimney already in place. Cleaning brush is there and if the connector pipe is ok,
we will re-use it. Probably can complete the job in less than 3 hours then head over to Tom's Tavern toast a job well done.
Let me know if interested in assisting the installation. I might bring along my electric splitter and some decent logs for all to demo

good deal elk! the century unit is a solid workhorse, will do well, shame it would be a 12 hour drive for me down here in VA, one of these days i'll have to get back up to MASS , i'll definately look ya up drag ya out and do dinner or somthing. make sure you get pictures on the install

I'll prolly come up some weekend to help on one. This weekend I am hoping Corie & I can finish our donor install down Philly.
Ladder racks coming tomorrow, so now I can bring a real ladder down with me.

Send message with exact date and time... this Saturday looks bad, but Sunday may be OK, I can bring mead for those not doing roof work... Also if any tools needed, let me know I will help if I can.

I would love to come up and help ..........but the coal train dont go that far northeast from the lower midwest I'm told. ;-) That would be awesome to be there when all the beer is brought to the table ............O' ................a ............I mean help with the stove.

Sounds like a straight forward install , best of luck brother Elk.

Sounds like fun...
What Should I bring(the digital camera)? I've got an appliance dolly with a ratchet strap that moved my wood boiler?

Anyone interested in getting a "Meeting of the minds" gathering going say in the spring or summer? I'm a member of a local 'social club' that has a banquet hall that holds 200+, separate bar, outdoor barbeque/horse shoe pit (plenty of parking..Harleys welcome) located in central MA (GARDNER) Great local Hotel..two state parks with camping/RV within 10 minutes.
Might be able to arrange tour(s) of the three woodchip fired operations in the area...

Do you have the exact date Elk, or are you looking to see when people are available?

EDIT: Good luck on the installation this weekend, Hogz and Corie.... at least the wind died down a bit and you should be looking at some warmer weather... don't forget the pics

Well if it don't stop snowing, I am going to have a hellova time on the roof. Guess we gotta make up for the mild early winter. This snow is getting ridiculous. My ol man lives 20 miles away and it stopped there two hours ago, even heavier here now. Ah mountain living at its finest. I am supposed to hopefully get a 75 Intl. 1 ton dump with power angle plow tonight. Put a deposit on last Sat. 4 wheel drive too woohoo!!!! Plow & scrounge vehicle. Now I can drive to all those downed trees in the woods here.
