Question:

I need a heat exchanger for my LOPI 520 wood stove about 18" long 6"wide3"deep looks like muffler with pipe connections on both ends and it fits above the flame guard and makes hot water for storage when the solar is not working in the winter time. Let me know if you can help me



Answer:

I used to see them around..but have not in some time. You could surely use soft copper tubing wrapped around the stovepipe..and then covered with another layer of stovepipe. Be sure to use a pressure relief valve. <p>
