Garnification, Do you happen to have any blueprints of your boiler? If not - how much would you charge me to make a set? Hand Drawn would be fine... I want to build a boiler like yours. Although your pictures would give me a running start...

I'll 2nd that I would even pay you for them Nate

Guys, I'm flattered. I don't have any plans of my unit and I don't think ML would like that.

Anyway, I'm looking to the future and might be building one like high E built. The tank is a poured in place concrete with the firebox/ flue inserted into one end. I guess the efficiency #'s are running in the high 400s% right up there with ground source heat pumps and the Eden pure heaters, and lil powerhouse boilers :-) Just back of the envelope calcs right now though but he should be getting that kind of efficiency burning kiln dried wood; 800 count family size box of Diamond brand toothpicks. ;-P

Yeah, that guy was a real hoot. I went back and read some of his posts and can't believe that anybody could make some of those claims with a straight face. Wait a minute--you've got a bargain basement budget boiler and yet it's more efficient than anything else on the market. Secret formula. That takes some cojones, but those OWB sales guys got 'em for sure. I guess he finally figured out he was wasting his time on us. Too bad. I need all the entertainment I can get in the middle of February.
