We have a Kitchen Queen 480 cook stove. We cannot solve a bad creosote build up... We burn all seasoned hardwood (11-14 percent) cherry, beech, hard soft maple w/ some dry pine for kindling. The wood is 5 years old in a barn with super air flow. We have tried all different suggestions.. The creosote is thick and bubbled, we scrape it every 8 fires of 24 hour duration with a cooktop above the firebox at 400 degrees during the day 300 at night. We have the oven rod in when not baking and the smoke rod closed unless we are checking the fire. The creosote is mostly around the oven top, side and bottom where the heat comes from the firebox. All visible seals look fine After scraping there is still the worst hardest stage of creosote left in places. We have a 10 ft. ceiling , Selkirk insulated piping and 10' pipe above the roof, all inspected and cleaned 2x each of 2 seasons. There is not much creosote in any of the piping- easily cleaned w/ a rotary brush. The oven cooks at 350d when the cooktop temp above firebox is 450d We sure would appreciate any and all suggestions Thanks Tee
