rmac said:This site gives you weekly national averages retail and wholesale. If you click on the "more info" button you can find an individual state. Check out the wholesale vs. retail prices in your area. I am paying 3.55/gallon, the whoulsale price is about 80 cents/gallon. Someone on another thread said that propane has not come down because the retailers purchased their winter stock in the summer when it was high. Could be... but that still doesn't explain why I am paying 100% more than someone else in another part of the country.

Just a thought but that other retail area might have sold out and resupplied at the lower rate.

Bushbuck said:I just got a delivery today and the price per gallon is 3.41. I am in NH. Does this sound right? Is there anyone else up here in New England that knows what propane should be selling for or a site that shows updated pricing?
Thanks

Maybe, but we're talking about entire regions of the country. I don't think that you see such great discrepencies with home heating oil, gasoline, natural gas, pellets.. 10-30% maybe, but not 100% more in some states than others. I don't know, it's just frustrating....It's Friday, time to crank up the pellets and have a beer!
