I'm getting confused on the different metrics/acronyms to calculate wood vs propane cost. Assuming roughly similar efficiency systems of a wood stove and propane fireplace, can anyone do the math regarding at what price point a cord of wood would cost more vs propane at $2.10/gallon. Lets assume the wood is pine and properly aged. Many thanks!

So about $340 per cord if pine has 18 million BTU per cord gets you equal to propane at $2.10 per gallon..(assuming 70% efficiency wood stove and 85 propane)
