Any tips and tricks other than stirring coals to cool down a stove? It's pipe cleaning day.
 
When I was trying to break ours in quickly I used a couple of fans just to circulate air around the stove after the fire went out, did the same when I was having the installer come back to check something. Worked pretty quickly for me.
 
scoop out all ash and coals in stove, keep loading door open, stove will be cool enough to work on after an hour

As Kenny said. You could add a fan blowing into your flue.
