So this plumbing has had me stumped, but I think I've finally got it.

Valve 1 & 2 are service valves and are always open....

Valves 3 & 4 close for oil operation and open for wood burning.....

Valve 5 is pointless....

In wood operation.....
When supply water reaches the aqua stat, the second return pump pulls 'warmer' return water back to the wood boiler.....
Perhaps Valve 5 should be open in Wood mode for 'hot' supply water....

In a power failure.....
the Solenoid Opens and convection helps to release heat through the kitchen radiators.....

If I'm correct, What tempurature should that aqua stat be set at?

If this is correct I'm hoping to keep the wood boiler warmer, condensing less creosote...

Please share your thoughts.....
