In The Woods
Made a trail in & out so I could get the rhino with the trailer with the milling equipment in so I could finish up the White Pine.

Before that I cleaned up some downed half rotten Hemlock which I took to the wood dump, called it a day around 1:00 pm.

That's a lot of moss zap! Looks like Oregon or Washington rather than NY.

The wood with the moss on it has been dumped in that area for a good 10-15 years.

This is some of the equipment you need, I bought the Stihl 660 which will take the 36 inch bar, that is why I went with the 36 inch mill (might go bigger) after getting some deals on some bigger saws. I went with a 9 & 5 foot section for the rails, hell of alot lighter than a 2x6 or 8.

This is a picture of the rails setup and leveled right to left on a nice Hemlock, the second picture is after I did the second board and the third pic I shared my granola bar with this little guy.

That is very cool!!
The smell from the Hemlock is different ( a good different) looks like Mother Nature will give us a good weekend so I'll be able to mill the top (Hemlock) for the coffee table.

Pallet Pete, I missed this weekend on milling that Hemlock but promise you if the weather is good you'll see pictures or maybe a vid next weekend. On tap for this week is chipping, splitting, stacking along with digging up some wild leeks for people I promised. The recliner will get a break.
