I have a 1,100 sq ft house, living room is about 400 sq ft with 20 ft vaulted ceiling. 2 rooms upstairs with doors, I room downstairs plus small kitchen. Is the hearthstone Shelburne too big?

Probably not. It can get cold in Nebraska.

I can keep 2000 sq ft pretty warm with a shelburne in NH. Stove is in a room with a ~15ft vaulted ceiling. That said, if I were to do this all over again I'd get something that loads N/S.

That would be my choice too, especially if the stove is intended to be used 24/7 for winter heating.
