Love the cherry tree . . . can't blame George for chopping one down since they smell so nice when cut and split.

Spliter just spoke with my neighbor and the scrounge is on for Saturday, the weather is going to be in the 50's. He told me I could keep the wood for the work, I've got a nice load of ironwood I'll bring him the week before Thanksgiving.

Good for you Zap. Get it done soon. Snow in forecast for upper MI for weekend. 6" or more in some areas. Winter is about to happen.
