Started stove yesterday for first time this season. Put new batteries (Rayovac Alkaline High Energy) in the remote because batteries had died. Set it to Temp mode and 65 degrees. Came home from work last night and it was 80 degrees in the house. It somehow changed to Manual mode. I tried getting it to change to Temp mode but the remote didnt want to do anything. Took the batteries out of the remote and tried putting back in and now its trying to set the clock on the remote but pressing any buttons on the remote wont do anything. Ive set it sit about 5 minutes and it just keeps scrolling the clock like you are trying to set it. I took the batteries out of the remote last night and kept them out till trying this morning to maybe try resetting it and no change. Tried resynching the remote and reciever with the Reset button on reciever but pressing the small flame button on the remote does nothing so it wont resynch. Put new batteries in reciever and tried resetting again to no aval. Called dealer and she was stumped. There techs are busy and supposed to call me tomorrow just seeing if anyone else has had this experience. Thinking I am going to need a new remote probably.
