I've been running this stove for about 4 years. I can usually diagnose and fix most problems with it. However, this has me stumped.
I had an issue with pellets not feeding properly and the system shutting off. I believe it was a pellet jam. I cleaned out the hopper, and set the diagnostic to run the auger, and vacuumed out what I think was the jam. I put some pellets in the hopper and it still wasn't feeding them to the pot. I was about to take out the motor and auger when I realized that the auger is turning backwards so that it is pushing the pellets down into the hopper instead of up to the shoot.

Has anyone come across this? Does the stove detect a jam and reverse the auger? If so, how do you reset it?

OK, I'm a bone-head! The auger was blocked, and I was able to clear it out without taking it apart. What I didn't do was give the auger time to fill itself to the top. The auger was spinning in the correct direction; looking down into the hopper, clockwise. I was also able to use a mirror and flashlight to look up the shoot and see that the auger was clear. She is up and running again!
