So I was putzing with my Mom's stove yesterday, the auger apparently was not working. It turned out to be the vac switch, it was semi-out of the housing. In placing it back into the housing, it seemed very loose and just 'floating' in the housing, you can easily push it in and out. Is there something missing as far as mounting the switch in the housing? The way it is now, I'm concerned it is not functioning as it should, either pushed too far in and always on, or too loose and not funtional. Thanks, GTH.

sometimes they fall apart like yours did. the only real fix is to get a new one. your local dealer (if they do service) should stock them.
