Is this something that needs replaced , my King is 7 years old burning 24/7 during winter,what symptoms might I experience indicating it needs attention.Not something I'd attempt myself,THX

Not sure but you can dollar bill test it. I’m on season 12 with the original bypass gasket. I just don’t consider it a critically important seal like the door gasket.
