Don’t get me wrong. I love the long burn times and the look of our Ashford 30, but we have had numerous issues and horrific customer service over the past few months.

I have been emailing we blazeking for months. Initially when I voiced my concerns they were very receptive saying that they would fix these issues/send parts, but since that time they completely stopped responding to all emails over the past three months. It might be a coincidence, but the lack of response happened after I sent them a picture of how the knife hits the door gasket (way off center/barely catches it).

Anyway- horrible experience with Megan at blazeking. I would not recommend you buy a stove from them.

This is interesting to see,Blaze King is one of the most respected companies on this site. I seriously doubt they just quit responding unless...........

Every company has times stuff is missed. Don't jump to conclusions. It absolutely is not typical of bk at all. But no need to be insulting to the original poster either
 
My personal experience with BK has been awesome. Both BKVP and BK’s Canadian Sales Representative out of BC have been very helpful. Spent 20 minutes on the phone with their Canadian sales representative answering questions and getting guidance on the proper operation and techniques to run the stove in a safe and efficient manner. I only called because in his email he suggested that I call him.
 
I agree that everything I read on here said that BK was great to deal with. That is one of the reasons why I went with them.

I have not had that experience so I thought I would let others know. It has been very frustrating for me, but maybe the person that was trying to help had some medical issues or something and that is why she stopped responding…. I don’t know.

She initially offered a few fixes and said she would send me parts. I haven’t heard anything back since that time and it has been a few months.

I am speaking with BKVP now so maybe they can help!
 
As a BK fanboy, that sounds fair enough. It is an experience and therefore deserves to be known regardless of whether it is symptomatic of BK behavior or not.
