When I talked to a few dealers about my Morso they had a spark screen, so you could burn it with the doors open. So when I bought mine from another dealer, they didn't have a screen, and tried but couldn't order one. Bottom line is Morso doesn't make one. So I called Morso and they said the stove is not tested to run with the doors open.
My question is, would it hurt to run the stove with the doors open? Using two thermometers, watching the temps, and using very small loads of wood, with the screen on.
Kind of like the open fire on warmer days, reminds me of the old Franklin Fireplace.
