Greetings all! I have an older Breckwell P23 that still has the original burn pot. While bored the other day I was searching the web for parts for it in case the need arises. What I found is that Breckwell changed the burn pot quite a bit from what I have (one piece, large burn area). The "second generation" is a two piece affair that the actual burn pot is stainless steel, and not even half the size of the original. Has anyone here switched from the old one to the new one, and if so, did you see an improvement? Watching mine burn, and constantly digging chunks of carbon out of, it seems it would almost have to be an improvement. It just does not have the "wind power" to keep the pot free from ash build up. Even with the damper wide open, and the combustion fan cleaned ( yes I cleaned it thoroughly) it builds up carbon chunks (clinkers?) no matter what pellet brand I use.
Any input will be appreciated!
