Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a Lopi Leyden stove and tried to start it today, however after the auger runs a few times dropping pellets in the burn pot, the maintenance light starts to blink. The blower is not turning on, and I thought I remembered that it does come on the moment the auger begins turning. What I have checked so far (I have done a thorough cleaning): auger (turns, drops pellets), vacuum tube clear. Both exhaust and convection motors replaced last year with new fasco motors. Plugged the motor on the left, the one not starting (the one on the left side of the stove looking at the stove) directly into the wall and it runs fine. Fuse is good. Not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions? Could the control board be bad?

Thanks - Terry

I'm not familiar with your stove, but did you check your vacuum switch? I know you said you checked the hose but the switch itself? As a test, and only a test, you can jump it out to see if that solves your issue. WARNING, this is most likely 120 volts AC, so make sure what you use for a jumper doesn't touch anything or you. If it does fix it, your switch is bad. If not, it might be the board.

Plugged the motor on the left,
Facing the stove the motor on the left is the Room Blower and should not start until a fire is established and it reaches 120 degrees in stove. The blower on the right is the exhaust blower should come on when you push on button then auger should start moving.

Thank you for the suggestions. I jumpered the Vacuum switch and it did not fix it. I have also jumpered each snap disc, and none of them appeared fix the problem (i.e. no blower coming on while the auger is dumping pellets into the pot). Then still get the maint. red flashing button. seems like the board is the only thing I have not verified is working. I'd hate to spend $300 for a board and have this problem still exist. Is there anything else I can try before buying a new board?

SOLVED - Thank you to all who replied. After checking everything and finding it operational, and not wanting to spend $300 on a control board which I read rarely go bad on Travis stoves, I thought about what I may have missed in deep clean. I did not take out the auger, but stove was dropping pellets so I figured it was not jammed. But, I did not remove the cleanout cover on the exhaust blower. So I did, and it was filthy and filled completely up with ash. I cleaned it out with pellet vacuum and viola! Back in business. I should have looked at the blinking maintenance lights more closely; they also had yellow and green lights on, which was telling me to look in the one place not cleaned - the exhaust vent before the exhaust stack. Lesson learned on how important cleaning is, I always did it, but discounted the importance in the past.

anything else I can try
Are we talking about the blower on the right. Facing stove, that is the exhaust blower and should run on start up. The blower on Left is room blower and should not run on start up should run after stove is hot.

When you get the Maint light is there another light near the Heat Output should be #2, #4 or #6. Could the something simple like exhaust blower needing cleaning and oiling.
