Thanks. That explains why it isn't heating my unfinished house. 1950's masonry cape cod that is gutted. Stove is in the basement, running on #3.
Running great. Great flame, blowers all clean and blowing great. Just doesn't make a ton of heat. Basement at 58 degrees when it is zero outside. 1st floor at 45 degrees.
I'm just using it to keep pipes from freezing while the baseboards and radiators are disconnected, so its doing what i need. Don't think it would heat the house though like the woodstove did.
 
Well gutted may be a issue since you will have drafts coming from everywhere. Im my older modular the stove will cook me out on 3.
 
Do what you have to and get an outside air intake if you don’t have one hooked up, it’ll make a massive difference in your case…we had a Harman pellet pro 2 in our farm house with a sketchy 80 yr old drafty basement and once the outside air was hooked up…boom big difference…this was my introduction to pellet stoves…after chopping wood growing up
