i've been using a cheap bandsaw to cut my supercedars into 1/8" pieces. but, i'd like to get rid of the bandsaw since it takes up space and this is about the only thing i use it for. any ideas on other easy ways to do this? maybe a sawzall + a template?

I put a couple in a plastic bag and just break them manually. You get them in smaller pieces without the mess.

Mine have lines indented in them for quartering them & I just break them by hand. If I need smaller pieces I just break the quarters.
