Bucked up a couple recently fallen storm damage trees that died a few years ago. An oak with a semi rotted outer core and then a decent Virginia pine.

I got a couple years ahead in my woodpile, then got lazy and only have half my wood for next year. This stuff was standing dead so should dry out by next season if I can get it split soon. I gotta start watching craigslist more regularly and get some good hardwood scores...

It doesn't look great but I can tell the oak there will be good. A little punky but oak is oak. Good score.
