Hey Everyone, im new to the forum. Im looking at getting a Dropet HT3000 and installing it as well as a few Floor registers in my basement. Im currently doing up a room app 800sq ft with a stairwell that leads to the main level which is 1800sqft .I plan to put 1 or 2 floor registers over my stove to draw down cool air and hopefully let the heat rise up the stair well. The issue is that I want the stove in this corner pictured, but it makes for an extremely awkward chimney on the outside. The window you see in both pictures is the same window, and where I want the flue to break though the foundation is right around where that hose bib is to. I Cannot get the flu over far enough to get up the left side of that window where the hose bib is, it would almost come out under the window.
Would I be able to put the transition out under the window and then make a couple of 45's so I could go up the left side of the window? or would I just be better off coming out between the upper and lower window and going straight up from there? I don't like the idea of that as much because id like to have the stove in the corner facing the rest of the room, but you've got to do what you have to do. Any ideas on this guys? I am also concerned if I make a 45 on the outside it would be difficult to sweep. I am new to stoves but work in construction, I would be able to do all necessary work myself.
Thanks
