I go south in the Winter and my adult daughter lives in the house. She said she went to work one day came home and stove was dead, as in nothing no pellets feeding, no fans no nothing. I am now trying to work on the stove. The little breaker had tripped for some reason. I meticulously cleaned, vacuumed and use the leave blower on it. Reset the breaker and stove starts up beautiful. Stove is manual start, it does the going out thing at about 25/30 mins but it never stops feeding pellets. No fire but pellet pot will eventually overflow I have to manually turn it off to shut off the auger.

I have not seen the convection fan run yet. The combustion fan runs well. When is the convection fan supposed to start up? This has been a very good stove for some years but now is driving me crazy. I jumped the limit switch I think it's the high limit, the one very near the combustion fan. I plan to jump the other switch (low?) tomorrow.

In all the tinkering and digging around in it some of the wires got damaged as in broken off in the connector for the control board so I ordered a wiring harness from Joe in California. Put it in today and still the same issues. I really need to get this stove going, Winter is on the way and Arizona sun is calling me but I can't leave the daughter and grandkids with no heat.

If the convection fan is bad would that cause these symptoms? I did replace the convection fan 3 years ago. Just trying to figure out how to fix it lol
thanks for any comments and info.

I went ahead and jumped the switch tonight, and the results are the stove is running great EXCEPT that convection fan is still not turning. Does this mean that possibly that switch (low limit switch?) is bad and the convection fan too? The switch is the one on the right hand side facing the door and is down low by the air tube.

Of course jumping the switch is just for testing and I will not use the stove this way. It's been running now for an hour with me sitting right here monitoring it. Will turn it off shortly.

You are doing everything right, jumping switch should have made the convection fan run too. With stove off can you spin the fins on the convection fan? If they spin freely, unhook wire harness to convection fan and using a old lamp cord test fan while it is still in stove. Hard to believe both switch and fan would go at same time but it does happen.

thank you for helping/replying, yes the fins spin freely manually. I will do the test with the lamp cord today thanks!

I jumped both low limit and high limit stove will turn on and feed/burn pellets like its supposed to except that convection blower is not turning at all. I did the lamp cord connection to the Conv fan, still not turning. I installed another board nothing changed. Stove feeds and burns pellets combustion fan runs. Convection fan does not. I guess this means the Conv fan needs replaced.
