I have what I believe is a 1991 Eclipse HR2. Once I press the "on" switch pellets will immediately start feeding even with the fuel dial turned all the way off.

With the fuel dial disconnected entirely I'm still having the auger feed so I don't believe the dial is the issue. There's an aftermarket resistor wired into the dial which I thought was weird. The only way I can get the auger to stop is by either unplugging it or tipping the firepot to engage the safety shut off .

Any ideas? Schematic attached

Can not find a picture of your control board online, can you post a picture? Does it have Triacs that look like picture below? If so maybe the one that controls the auger is shorted on/open. To test take a multi meter set to ohms test continuity of all three legs with stove unplugged you should only have continuity between two of the three legs and one leg should not have continuity at all.

I checked potentiometer and when clicked to the off position I have no continuity. Soon as it's on there's continuity that increases relative to dial position. When I have a chance I'll check the board. Thanks

Any leads on where to get one of these? I contacted the only company I could find that had one. They want 90 USD set up fee, 90 USD for the part, and 60 USD shipping :/

Have to figure out what you need it to do? Is that the one on your stove? If not any numbers on the one on the stove? Still think you should try the Potentiometer first not the timer.

With the potentiometer disconnected I still get a constant feed. If I meter across the terminals I have OL with it in the off position and a linear increase in resistance when I move the dial so I believe it's functioning as it should
