I saw a banner advertisement for the ash dragon. (broken link removed to http://www.ashdragon.com/) I'm intrigued. Does anyone have experience using this product? It looks like a winner to me.
It looks like a loser to me. The way the lid hinges, when open, it protrudes out past the front of the scoop. The Ash Trap design was different in that the lid slid back away from the leading edge of the scoop.jdinspector said:I saw a banner advertisement for the ash dragon.

Well, I purchased an ash dragon anyways. Very nice ash remover. It is indeed dustless in the house. It fits right into the firebox and the lid can be closed while in the firebox to prevent ash or coals from spilling out on the floor of my family room.
I think this is a winner (for me). One scoop a day, more or less, and I can start a new fire with the remaining coals in the firebox.
