I came across starlite pellets, so bought 5 bags.
seems like good heat, flame is high and consistent,
but seems to be quite a bit of dust on pellets.

Anyone try them and your thoughts ?

They have received average to below average reviews here.....mainly because of inconsistent length and excessive ash.

I burnt 3 tons this winter, the only thing I noticed is the size varies a lot and there is a lot of dust in some of them. They do put out good heat, I have USS 6100 furnace in basement. I got 125 degree heat out of vents. I live about 20 miles from the plant so I got a good price on mine.

I burned a half ton of these, got em on closeout cause a pallet tipped. Alright heat, my bags were quite beat up so length wasn't a problem but there was a lot of ash. Would I buy them again...possibly if I can find another tipped over pallet for $2.50 a bag.
