Hello long time lurker and now a member!
We just moved to a new house and it's got a gas ventless stove. We don't like it and want to put a wood stove in it's place.
Only ONE place in town that does wood stoves and they are having issues coming up with a solution and they don't even do stone work.
We have solar off grid and a mini split too so I was thinking fitting a Jutol F 602 V3 in there with class A pipe. My concerns are on the hearth floor is the gas line and electric outlet plus clearance issues. I can crawl and fit inside back behind the stove and attached are rough dimension of that space. I thought maybe put Hardie board inside that space too? If not I guess plan B is to get a better vented gas stove than this cheap Home Depot model. Not all is lost as we have a big screen porch that we want to make a 4 season room that we could eventually put a big wood stove in. Our mini slit is not the best when we are in the 20f's
