For the first time I bought a mesh/screen filter instead of the flocked, what is your preference and why.

The 660 should have the hd filter thats an awesome filter. Smaller saw I have always used the mesh.

Thats it the outer part is a pre-filter and comes off easy if you want to really clean it...Best to just blow it out with compressor! Thagts a hd filter used on 460,660,880.

I knock mine out on my pant leg every 2-3 hours of operation. Easy preventative maintenance!
RNLA said:Zap that is the same as the MS440 too... Like Jay said, clean it off with the air. I'm fairly gentle though and I try not to aim directly at the filter. Come at it from an angle so the dust goes off to the side...
RNLA said:On the main filter body I do go from the inside out. The strechy fabric thing too but usually it is not too dirty....

I'm giving the business I ordered through two more weeks and if the mill and the rails don't come in I'm cancelling the order.
