Wanna talk boring? Ha...I live west of you both in Goshen! Population 2500 or so, and half of them only live there in the summer! Wanna talk boring?....We don't even have a traffic light! Our town is so boring, on a rainy night I will take the family "into town" to go to Wal Mart just to watch the roof leak!!!

Oh you can't complain about Goshen!......you have the best smokehouse around. If I lived there I would be at Nodines every week for fresh Beef Jerky!!!!

Cromwell here.....where the big golf tournament is held every summer. Other than that we have nothing going for us but high taxes, condos, big box stores and Dunkin Donuts....like 4 of them last I knew.

Very peacefull pond/lil lake. We have fished it often(Not so much now that we have a bigger boat). No jetski's or ski boats blasting around is a plus.
That is how Quassy is :)

Thanks for the reco. I will keep them in mind.

Wow, OK you are even smaller than us. ;)

Fun to see how many of us are actually in this NW corner....I'd never even heard of the area till DH got a hit on a job out here a few years ago. Gotta admit I love how quiet it is. Though I do miss decent Thai take out and an easy commute to a fun city (we moved from Boston...)

I envy you!!! I live 15 minutes from either of the two casinos. I would love to have it like it used to be. Construction was great for a few years, building the casinos and all the home building for the many thousands that that came here to work. Now they wither on the vine as does our property values. Now we are stuck with a bunch of minimum wage people that are unemployed or on assistance. I wish I was bored like you guys!!

Please write this up for the Governor of MA. He actually thinks Casinos are going to create sustained jobs with livable wages...uh...not likely. :(
