Advice securing pipe to ceiling box adapter

Hello,
Is it possible to attach these duravant DVL piping to an existing chimney?
The adapter that came with the kit doesn’t seem like it will help

Here is what I did on an install a few years ago. I purchased 2 caps and used a 4” hole saw(yours maybe a slightly different size) then used a stainless steel hose clamp to hold it in place above both caps. Disregard the OAK, second pipe
