We have 1/2" per tubing in our house to distribute hot water from the Orlan outdoor boiler. We are concerned that the 180degree water running through heat exchanger and on through the house will be to much for the pex. The factory setting for the boiler temp. is 150 degrees which is where our Orlan is set now. So why do the fans continue to run until it reaches nearly 180 degrees? Doesn't seem to be any way to shut the fans down any sooner? Any suggestions? or ideas? The max setting for the boiler temp is 195, again that is to high for what we are doing. Thanks for help.

Is the pex designed for a boiler?
I get my storage temps up to 185 and don't have any concerns with my Rehue pex

The pex companies recommend a circulation temp of about 100 degrees to protect flooring, furniture, etc. Although the max temps for the pex can be as much as 200 degrees. We used mostly uponor pex. Thanks for your input. I was able to turn down the boiler temp to 140 so we will try that for now.
Keeping in touch,

If you are worried about the temp of the water going to your floor you need a mixing valve to control it.
You don't control it by adjusting your boiler temps. Running your boiler too cold will cause you other problems
