Stuck
What is the code approved method of connecting a liner with a horizontal Tee Snout to the back of my Keystone? It would be easy if it was a male snout. Then all the connectors would go downhill into the stove. I have never seen a male snout.
I have a 25 foot brick chimney
Insulated liner with Snout attached installed
I am bricking in the fireplace opening.
All the instructions say I should brick in the 10 inch snout pipe to complete the liner install.
I could just use a male/male connector, but is that code approved? Everything I read says all the male ends should only point downhill to the stove.
What do people with thimbles do? What's the best and code approved plan of action here?
Thanks
Rob
