need instructions for Simpson Dura-vent extended roof bracket

I have a stack tall enough that it requires an extended roof bracket. I bought one (in another town) and it has no instructions in the box. Couldn't find instructions online, either. As I understand it, it is installed with 3/4" thin wall galvanized electrical conduit (not included), but I don't know how to go about this. Anyone with experience in this area? It can't be too hard, can it?

I used the extender that was made by the pipe company (but i was using metalfab pipe) and it was simple, didn't even look at instructions, so I don't think this will be too tough. Hope not for your sake

Get conduit, flatten both ends offset from each other, drill holes in the conduit, bolt one side to the strap in the kit, and bolt the other side to your roof.

...and when you flatten the conduit, look for thee weld on the inside of the tube (it is there but faint)
Flatten so the weld is 90 degrees from the vise (weld will be up when done)
Tubing wont crack that way

buy the way, i havent seen a simpson duravent support bracket not come with conduit, are you shure you didnt buy the 9463 roof support? thats not the same thing as a extended roof bracket.

The duratech ones come with the conduit but the dura plus do not. (last I knew anyway)

Thank you all for the good info. I have the 6" Dura Plus Ext roof bracket, #9062 SDP-RSA. The box contains the collar that slips around the chimney and tightens with a screw and nut and two sheet metal upside-down Ts (they look like a couple of standard 2"x3" hinges welded back-to-back and rigid at 90 degree angles). I see how the T is screwed into the roof (with wood screws I assume) and that the conduit is attached to these Ts and to the chimney collar on the other end. I did find some illustrations of typical dura vent chimney installations on the net, and I guess I'll just try to copy the angle of the placement like that in the picture. No details whatsoever, just a small illustration. The silicone makes sense and also the flattening tip.

i just set up my chimney(dura tech 8") i need to make a tee support bracket cause i ran out of cash alloted for the chimney.the inspector changed his mind. any suggestions on dimensions? i have a wall bracket to use with it.

Well, the real deal there is that it needs to be strong, and give access to the cap. i would make it with a 10, inch band that you can cinch around the T, then have legs, 3 of them, top two parallel to one another, and the bottem one in the middle below the top two, does that make sense? like a tripod sort of. Bolt it to the house like you would a extened roof bracket.
