Was looking for some advice on wood stove inserts. My chimney is a masonry chimney and my home is approx. 1800 sqft. I do have access to wood and that wont be a problem, but my question is what questions should I ask? I want a good insert, but does not have to be top of the line. What are the parameters/specifications I should be looking at? Are there any options that my contractor may advise that are a waste of money etc? What are price ranges for purchase and installation? I really appreciate the help as I am clueless right now
