toledo oh
i have a napoleon 1401. i have had trouble with the blowers. one died a few years ago, i pulled out the whole fan assembly took to a motor repair place and they relubricated the bearings ( i assume ) worked fine, a few years later same motor, same problem. this time i opened the motor (ebmpapst), i lubricated and reassembled. the problem i'm having is the fan rotor which sits on the motor armature spindle is slipping down and contacting the housing so it will not turn. i cannot figure out what holds the spindle in the armature. am i missing a piece?? i tried to carefully disassemble. i talked to ebmpapst and they send me a part ( the rubber piece at the top of the fan assembly which the rotor fits into ) i thought maybe this held the rotor from falling - no!!! maybe if i had a pictoral diagram of the inside assemblage of the motor i could figure this out. i could use any advice obviously i don't know what i'm doing. THANKS [email protected]
